DIRECTIONS TO THE GOLF COURSE:

From the airport you need to follow the signs for Plovdiv.

After about 10 minutes you will suddenly notice a small sign for Plovdiv telling you to turn right, you need to do more or less a full circle.

You are now on the main road out of sofia towards Plovdiv you will pass Metro on your right and Praktikar on your left.

This is a motorway and a good road just be careful after you leave sofia for 3 or 4 miles as there is a police checkpoint on the right and speed checks.

Continue along the motorway for approx 25 mins and you will pass the Ichtiman Motel and Golf on your right, continue a further 10 minutes and you will pass LUK petrol, services and a motel.

You need to take the next turning off the motorway for Kostenets (spelt Kotchelli) and turn right off the motorway slip road driving through a small village called Mirovo (Myxebo)

Staying on the main road you will come to a point where you are following the river on your left and there is a new concrete retaining wall on the right with the railway on top - keep going passing 1 petrol station on the left then at the next LUK (red) petrol station turn left before it.

Continue along this road for approximately 5 minutes then bear right under a bridge (this road is the one that takes you into Dolna Banya).

Continue driving for approximately 5 minutes and you will pass a large factory on your right.

A further 5 minutes driving and you will see the airport on your right and IBAR Golf Course will be on your left.
